Dr. Zeng received his medical degree from Guangdong Medical University, China, and completed his residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Dalian Municipal Central Hospital. He subsequently completed fellowship training in microsurgery and hand surgery at the Plastic Surgery Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (CAMS) and Peking Union Medical College (PUMC) in Beijing, China
Dr. Zeng specializes in microsurgical reconstruction with a focus on hand and lower extremity reconstruction. Over the past decade, he has dedicated his career to microsurgical education, training residents and fellows in Plastic Surgery, Otolaryngology–Head Neck Surgery, Neurosurgery, and Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Wisconsin. He directs the University of Wisconsin Annual Microsurgery Course and has developed a global microsurgery education platform with more than 30 live-streamed educational sessions reaching surgeons in over 30 countries. Dr. Zeng has also contributed to international microsurgical education programs in Vietnam, Egypt, Rwanda, South Africa, Ecuador, and Nicaragua
